Sharing a POS password with a third party breaks your provider's terms and puts your billing data at risk. We designed around that from day one.

- Ledgr AI reads your POS through the provider's partner API. You authorise one outlet at a time, from your POS dashboard or with a key your provider issues to you.

- The AI never sees your key. It asks our server for a specific slice of data, and the server makes the POS call.

Questions owners ask us.
Q: Do you need my POS username and password?
No, and we won't take it. You either enable Ledgr AI from your POS provider's integrations page or paste a merchant-scoped API key your provider issues to you. Sharing a login breaks your provider's terms and we don't build on that.
Q: Which POS systems will it work with?
Direct connectors are being built for Petpooja, Restroworks (formerly POSist), UrbanPiper and Gofrugal, and each one goes live as the provider approves access. If you run Vyapar or a local billing tool, the plan is to start you on a Tally export or a CSV import.
Q: What does a question cost?
A flat rupee rate per answered question, shown inside the app before you recharge. We track the real AI cost behind the scenes so you never have to think about tokens or models.
Q: Can my manager and floor staff use it?
Yes. The owner invites them by mobile number. Managers can chat and recharge; staff can chat only. Everyone shares the same POS connection and wallet, and every question is logged against who asked.
Q: How is my data handled?
Your POS key is encrypted at rest and your data is used only to answer your questions. Your customers' names and order history fall under the DPDP Act, and our data handling will be reviewed against it before we process real customer data at scale.
